SO Designer/SO Capture
The SO Designer application is used to create sets of instructions, called Jobs, that are used by the SO Series SO Capture software to read and process documents. The Jobs can be simple, such as capturing only the document image; or the Jobs can be complex, such as capturing the image, identifying the document, reading information from the document, printing a number on the document based on the information that was read, and making pocketing or sorting decisions.
SO Designer Features include:
- Interactive solution for creating imaging applications
- Provides ability to create multiple “job” definitions that utilize all features of the SO Series scanner
- Specify destination directories by job
- Span drives and directories, options for creating subdirectories and “round robin.”
- Print Document Control Numbers and embed into TIFF image Tags
- Barcode and Patch Code controls
- Constant and incrementing components of IID
- Flexible operator prompts for starting values
- Controls batching and file naming
